"I’ve had the pleasure of playing 2 years of my collegiate softball career with Megan. Those 2 years she was a great friend and teammate. Megan helped bring out our competitive nature, as well as helped maintain high standards throughout our team. She is consistent and persistent in her work ethic, spending many hours of her day at the softball field and helping our teammates get better. Megan is a confident spot on the field at all times. She is always alert and learning from the game as she challenges it and faces adversity. Megan has been a great teacher to me simultaneously on the flip side being a great responsive, respectful, and attentive teammate while receiving any criticism or teaching. Ever since I met Megan she has a love for the game and a fire under her to learn, teach, and get better at it. "We first met Megan 2 years ago when our daughter, Madison, became part of the Renegades organization. From the very first practice with Megan to placing 2nd in state and 5th in Nationals, it was nothing short of a perfect coaching experience. She makes your daughter want to do a 3 hour practice (yes 3 hours) because they know by the end of practice that they will be better and will definitely have learned something new. She not only works on the physical skills but also the mindset that players need to achieve in order to succeed. Her knowledge of the game is like no one in this town. She KNOWS the game. She has experience as a high level collegiate softball player and a coach in several different settings.
What you will get from Megan as a coach is 100% dedication to your daughter. She spends hours setting up practice plans, setting goals with individuals and as a team, preparing for games, understanding the needs of the players and scouting. She will help your daughter not only believe in themselves to be better, but truly understands the game of softball.
